Jazz Spoils Bryant's Return, Beating Lakers 90-71
After battling a torn rotator cuff, 5 times-NBA champion Kobe Bryant is finally back in action. The Los Angeles Lakers finally had Bryant back on the court in the preseason game facing Utah Jazz, Sunday (4/10) at Stan Sheriff Center, Honolulu, Hawaii. Unfortunately, the comeback game for 'Black Mamba' was spoiled since Jazz ended up winning 90-71 in the game.
Bryant, was one of the Lakers' starting lineup, along with 2015 draft pick from Ohio State, D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle and former Indiana Pacer Roy Hibbert.
Bryant scored 5 points from his 12 minutes appearance on the court. He only played for the first quarter and being benched for the rest of the game, after being sidelined for about 9 months. Lou Williams became the top scorer for Lakers that night with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. From the winner side, power forward Derrick Favors tallied 16 points and 9 boards for the night. Gordon Hayward scored 11 points and also 9 boards for the Jazz.
