URCC 27 Rebellion: Red Romero will be defending his featherweight belt against Do Gyun Lee of Korea. Red Romero is holding an MMA record of 9 wins and 4 losses.
We had a brief interview with Red Romero. Here is the transcript.
Q: What are your strength?
Red: I think I am a good in striking
Q. What are your weakness?
Red: I care so much about my family and I do not want anything bad to happen to them, I don't want them to get sick. I wish for me and my family to stay healthy for as long as possible. I am scared that the time will come that I will have to retire and I still havent saved enough for my family.
Q. Why do you fight? What is your motivation?
Red: Because I love MMA and it's my passion
Q. Do you dedicate your upcoming fight to anyone?
Red: I dedicate my upcoming fight to my family who always support me, my team mates and to my nation.
Q. What is your ultimate goal in the URCC?
Red: My ulitmate goal is to stay a champion and to have my big break to be a reknowned fighter
Q. What is your ultimate goal as a fighter?
Red: I want to compete internationally like my champion idols
Q. What is your favorite MMA move?
Red: Strike and submit
Q: .Do you think you will _____ your opponent?
Red: Submit but It would awesome if I will be able to knock him out
Q. What are your opponent's biggest strengths?
Red: I've known that he's very agile and strong
Q: What would be the first thing you would do after the fight?
Red: I will thank the Lord first for guiding me and blessing me throughout the fight then I would
go home, eat my favorite food and get some well deserved rest.
Q. What is your message to your opponent?
Red: I will not underestimate your capabilities because I know we have the same goal. I am fully aware that we both trained hard to bring home the championship belt. Good luck to both of us, see you in the cage. Bakbakan na!
