WBA Champion Randy Petalcorin will defend crown on April 15th
Australian promoter Peter Maniatis revealed that WBA interim light flyweight champion Filipino Randy "Razor" Petalcorin vs Australia based Tanzanian Kim Omawari (15-3,6) is a done deal for April 15th in Melbourne Australia but still waiting for the approval of World Boxing Association for the title defense.
According to Jim Manangquil who is the co promoter of Petalcorin (23-1-1,18), The Razor is just starting and will a have a busy 2016. Petalcorin is a long time WBA interim champion and also the WBA rated #1 contender in light flyweight.
Hopefully the winner of Petalcorin vs Omari will get the WBA regular World champion Ryoichi Taguchi of Japan.
