Mark Anthony Barriga who is well known for being a sole participants from Philippines in 2012 London Olympics is set to become a professional boxer in June 18, 2016. He is set to make his professional debut against Mark Anthony Florida at the Philippine Navy Gym in Taguig at the minimumweight division.
23 year-old Barriga who also represents Philippine in 2011 World Amateurs but lost to reigning WBO International and Chinese boxing icon Zou Shiming (5-12) in men's light flyweight will campaign in lower division (105 lbs./ minimumweight) against compatriot Mark Anthony Florida. 

Florida who already face some big names in the division like Thailand's WBA interim champion Knock Out Cp Freshmart but lost via TKO and ALA Promotion prospect Melvin Jerusalem who beat him by the way of Technical Decision victory holds professional record of 9 wins 7 from KO's and 6 defeats.
