The Top 5 Posterizing Dunks of Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant has a successful career in the NBA. Many fans seem to forget that Bryant used to jump through the roof using his athleticism.

There are a countless number of plays where Bryant absolutely destroyed other NBA players with his huge posterizing dunks. Here are the top 5 posterizing dunks of the great Kobe Bryant.

5) Over King James
The dunk happened during the 2011 All-Star game where Bryant won the MVP award.

An alley-oop play from LeBron James to Dwyane Wade was broken by Tim Duncan and the ball landed on Bryant's hand for a fastbreak opportunity. We all known that James was a terrific chasedown blocker, and that's he also wanted to do with Bryant.

Bryant on His Dunk: "That was funny, actually, because I saw it coming and I wanted to see if I could avoid the LeBron chasedown. But I told him afterwards, if I had tried to go over the rim, like get up, he probably would have blocked it with his armpit. So I just tried to be quick and just tried to time it up just the right way and I managed to do it. I kind of snuck it by him."

4) Over Captain Canada
The dunk happened during the 2009 Western Conference Semifinals Game 2 where Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers tied the series at 1-1.

An open mid-range shot missed by Luke Walton and Lamar Odom tries to dive for the ball against Shawn Marion. Odom successfully got the ball and he quickly pass it to the cutting Bryant to dunk the ball over the Captain Canda, Steve Nash.

Dwight Howard on the Dunk: "That's what he's supposed to do. He's supposed to attack the basket and score. If he doesn't attack, he's not playing the way he normally plays."

3) Over The Big Ticket & Rasho Nesterovic
The dunk happened during the 2003 Western Conference First Round Game 5 where Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers won and up the series by 3-2.

Shaquille O'Neal was in the low post against Rasho Nesterovic, then he passed the ball on Robert Horry to Derek Fisher and ended up to Kobe Bryant at the right corner. Bryant fakes and drives through the basket and the thunderous posterizing windmill dunk was happened.

Garnett on Playing Against Bryant: "Playing against Kobe is like playing a grizzly bear, if anything, if there's fear in you he's gonna expose it. I've actually enjoyed being in a competition with Kob, Kob is gonna bring the best out of you and when you play against the best, you gotta be at your best and anytime I'm pushed like that I have nothing but respect for you."

2) Over The Great Wall of Yao
The dunk happened during a game of the 2002-2003 Regular Season where Bryant scored 52 points, and won the game in double overtime.

Bryant drives through the basket from the screen of Rick Fox and the ferocious dunk over the great wall happened.

Bryant on Yao's Greatness: "In terms of opening up doors for Chinese basketball players to come to the NBA or for the youth here in China to believe that it's possible to achieve the dream of being an NBA player, all that started from Yao. The movement that started in the NBA of the influx of European players coming to the NBA was started by Vlade Divac, Dino Radja and those guys. Even that movement didn't have the impact and magnitude that Yao Ming has had. And on top of that, he's just a heck of a basketball player to boot."

1) Over Superman
The dunk was happened during a game of the 2004-2005 Regular Season where Bryant scored 41 points, but can't get the win.

Bryant drives through the basket from the screen of Lamar Odom and the baptism of Dwight Howard happened.

Howard Recalls on the Dunk: "I just laughed at it. After Kobe did that when I was a rookie, he never tried it again. It was something that will go down as one of his best dunks ever and it was pretty nasty. I wish I would have jumped. I probably would have just fouled him, instead of being on a poster or birthday cakes or walls."
