UST defeated UE 88 - 87

The UST Growling Tigers defeated the UE Red Warriors on a down to the wire game, 88-87, held at Smart Araneta Coliseum, Down by three, with the chance to tie the game and force the game into overtime, the Red Warriors wasn't able to convert a three-point shot at the end of regulation giving the UST its first win of the season. The Red Warriors only scored 2 points on their final play which is not enough to force the game to extra minutes.

Henri Subido lead the Tigers with 26 points and made some key baskets on the second half. While, Nick Abanto and Edison Batiller lead UE with 15 points each.
