Filipino teenager Jerry Castroverde (9-3,5KOs) will fight for the vacant WBO Youth Superfeatherweight title against Russia based Tajikistan Shavkat Rakhimov (6-0,4)

Castroverde is determined to KO his opponent this time to win the fight without any controversy after his last fight on July 29 against hometown boy Aphiwe Mboyiya in South Africa which was ended in a highly controversial unanimous decision.

November 18th

39 year-old Dennis Laurente (50-7-5,30KOs) a veteran of 60 plus fights will challenge WBC Asia Boxing Council Silver Superwelterweight champion, the undefeated hard hitting Russian Magomed "Black Lion" Kurbanov whose record is 8 wins and 7 via stoppages.

One of the undercards is another Filipino Carlo Magali (20-8-3,10KOs) who will try to avenge his stablemate (Leonardo Doronio) loss to Russian Pavel Malikov (8-0,2KOs)

Magali is well known for his fight against David  Browne Jnr that ends up in tragedy. On that fight Magali was outscored by Downey Jnr but he unleashed a brutal one punch KO that sent Browne Jnr to the canvass. Browne Jnr was rushed to the hospital but eventually died.

Malikov last fight was against another Filipino Leonardo Doronio on July 11 where he won the WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver lightweight title. This time Magali will try to snatch the title from Malikov.
