2016 PBA Offseason Grades: NLEX Road Warriors
It was just a month ago after the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel won their first championship in eight years and the PBA already opened it's 42nd season. Let us examine how each team did in the offseason.
NLEX ROAD WARRIORS
Players out: Mac Cardona, James Forrester, Reden Celda, Jeckster Apinan
Drafted players: Fonzo Gotladera
GRADE: A
I'll give an A grade for the offseason moves of NLEX Road Warriors. They have signed a multi-titled coach in Yeng Guiao and drafted Fonzo Gotladera and traded for Bradwyn Guinto.
The NLEX Road Warriors basically got bigger this season with this new additions. Asi Taulava and Enrico Villanueva (both in the dawn of their careers) will get an instant help inside the paint.
Aside from that, the team will be handled by a disciplinarian in coach Yeng Guaio. We all know what he's capable. He can turn an average players into role and key players, and develop young talents into a superstar.
So expect that this team will be a championship caliber team in a year or two.
