Zach Randolph Career About to Go Down South
Zach Randolph was one of the most beloved players in Memphis. At 36 years old, he had been one of the most accomplished big men in the NBA spanning a 17-year career and playing for four teams.
In Grizzlies were he played 8 years, he was one of the players that truly represented the team's grit and grind mantra. Memphis loved him and was even planning to retire his number 50 jersey.
Recently signing with the Kings, the former power forward may not see another NBA season after allegedly being caught red handed with drugs.
The league’s collective bargaining agreement with the players’ association says a player will be dismissed and disqualified from the NBA if he is convicted of, or pleads guilty, no contest or nolo contendere to, a crime involving the felony distribution of marijuana. Mayo was dismissed and disqualified from the NBA in 2016 for violating the league's anti-drug program.
