The Hawaiian Can still Pack a Punch at 36: Brian Viloria on a Comeback Trail

Brian Viloria may no longer be in his prime but he can still bring it, and last weekend he did that by stopping a boxer who is 10 years younger than him.

Brian Viloria is one of the undercards of the Superfly event last weekend which featured his former conqueror Roman Gonzales vs Thai Srisaket Sor Rungvisai. Brian met with Roman Gonzales inside the ring October of 2015 where he lost via TKO and he had to stay away from the boxing ring for more than a year after that loss.

Brian Viloria since then had fought twice and won both of them. He first fought March of 2017 when he faced Mexican Ruben Montoya ( 14 W- 5L-1D)  in Japan and win via Unanimous decision. He then stepped inside the ring again last week and showed glimpsed of his old self as he annihilates his opponent, Miguel Cartagena  ( 15 W - 4L - 1 D) with a fifth round stoppage.

The Filipino- Hawaiian is on a comeback trail and is pushing for another title run.

We wish him the best of luck and hopefully, he can win another belt before he retires for good.
