Filipino billiards master Efren โBataโ Reyes scored back-to-back wins in the 2011 US Open 10-Ball Championship at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Reyes, the former World Pool-Billiards Association (WPA) 9-Ball and 8-Ball champion, defeated Sal Butera of the US in the third round and UK's Raj Hundal in the fourth round.
He remains undefeated in the winners' bracket and will meet American Jonathan Pinegar in the next round.
Alex โThe Lionโ Pagulayan was battling Matt Krah of the US in a do-or-die match in the losers' brackets. Pagulayan lost to Hundal in the third round.
Jose โAmangโ Parica and Jun Almoite have already been booted out of the tournament after suffering 2 straight setbacks in the losers bracket.
