 Donnie Nietes dispose of his opponent easily in the fifth round via KO.  

Danai Meendaeng may not be the best opponent that Donnie Nietes should be fighting nevertheless its a good tune up fight for his upcoming  WBO light flyweight world champion defense.  Donnie "Ahas' Nietes of the ALA Gym systematically broke down his opponent with series of punches ultimately bloodying his opponent nose in the fourth round and knocking him out in the fifth. Nietes improved his record to 31 wins with 1 lost and 3 draw.  This bout was the the main event of ALA Stars Provincial Tour held at the Lamberto Macias Sports and Cultural Center in Dumaguete City.
