One of the boxing matches that I have been waiting for is finally within reach, Canelo Alvarez vs Erislandy Lara could be a potential fight of the year candidate as both fighters have something to prove.
Canelo Saul Alvarez is a Mexican superstar who is only 23 years of age but have fought 45 fights already and have won 43 of them, not to mention knocking out 31 of his opponents, his only defeat came from the hands of Floyd Mayweather.
Erislandy Lara on the other hand is already 31 years old Cuban who only fought 22 times and lost once, while based on record it seems like Lara is on the loosing end, a lot has credited Lara for being the more skillful boxer against Canelo.
