It has been approximately a week since the star hotshots started their practice, and Joe Devance is nowhere to be found in their practice gym.
An earlier report of spin.ph revealed some rumors behind joe devance's absence in the team practice which includes the unconfirmed news of him being transferred to Ginebra as the said player doesn't want to play for any other coach aside from Tim Cone.
There was already this rumor of the Star Hotshots forward's move to ginebra together with Tim Cone but has not materialized but as the teams started their own training camps, alot of developments have already been placed. As per our source who requested to stay anonymous, there's no negotiations yet but it is possible. "Posible tong trade na to kase dati pa naman yan, wala pa lang talagang naoopen samin sa ngayon.", our source said. If this movement materialises, two names are possibly gonna get their uniforms changed before the next season kicks off thru a three way trade.
"Ang concentration ngayon ng Ginebra is to stick to the current lineup kase yun lahat yung players na gusto ni Coach, bihira nga magpasign ng rookie yon e, but I think he got what he wanted in the recent draft kaya napasign si Villamor and Mariano." Says the source. We all know that the triangle offense takes alot of time to be mastered and perfected and moving players in and out of the roster isn't gonna help except if the player to be acquired already knows the Triangle which Joe Devance is already familiar with. As of this moment nothin has yet to be confirmed but this rumor will stay out there for quite some time until someone confirms it or if Joe Devance appears on practice of his current or new team.
