Filipino Featherweight Drian "Gintong Kamao" Francisco Opportunity of a Lifetime

Filipino featherweight Drian "Gintong Kamao" Francisco (28-3-1, 22 KO's) will climb into the ring with super bantamweight champion Guillermo "El Chacal" Rigondeaux (15-0, 10 KO's) on Saturday night. The fight will be one of the undercards of the Miguel Cotto vs Canelo Alvarez fight, and while most boxing fans will be fixated to watch the main event, Filipinos are also eager about the unexpected bout of Drian Francisco. 

Just a couple of weeks ago Drian Francisco was scheduled to fight in the Philippines against an unknown boxer. During the event itself which is under Manny Pacquiao Promotions, he had to pull out from the fight as they received a call from the US to fight  Rigondeaux. It was a short notice but nonetheless an opportunity to once again be in the spotlight of boxing. 

Many boxinig experts predicted that this will be a one sided fight in favor of the Olympian and undefeated boxer Rigondeaux. They believe Rigondeaux is just too technical to be outboxed. Some are saying that the only way Drian would win this fight is if he will be able to land a solid punch and knockout Rigondeaux. 

Tomorrow is the day that we will find out if Drian can overcome the challenge and once again be a champion.
