Pinoy boxer Jessie Espinas upsets undefeated Thai by KO, claims WBO Regional title

In a huge upset Filipino Jesse Espinas KO's Paipharob Kokietgym in eight to become the WBO Oriental light flyweight champ. The Thai was down once in the third and twice in the fateful eighth, both from bodyshots. The second finished the previously undefeated Thai. Fine performance from Espinas who took some big shots from Paipharob but was the stronger man. 

The venue of the fight was held on Phaipharob's own country Thailand. Back on 2015 Phaipharob Kokietgym was a long time WBO Oriental Champion and former WBO light flyweight no.1 contender and Jesse Espinas was coming from a TKO victory against fellow Filipino Joey Canoy which served as a good tune up fight for Phaipharob's showdown.
