"Play me or Trade me", who can forget that post of Star's Allein Maliksi last conference. Allein Maliksi posted that photo last conference due to frustration, after that post Maliksi was immediately suspended by the Star management.

This conference, the absence of Star's agile point forward Alex Mallari gave Maliksi the chance to prove that he deserves a playing time and show his talent. The former PBA DLeague MVP did not disappoint Coach Jason he proved to everyone that he can really play basketball. Maliksi played great on their first 4 games averaging 16.62 PPG while playing 24 min per game. But since the arrival of their new reinforcement(Ricardo Ratliffe ), Allein Maliksi exploded for 18.67 PPGin 3 games span. Maliksi also became Player of the Week once this conference. Maliksi helped the Star to reach 4-4 record ( Star started the conference with 1-3 record with Bowles, and won 3 straight games with Ricardo). It was strongly believe that Maliksi and Ricardo energizes the Star and became the game changer of their team.
