WSOF: Underground Battle MMA 14: Affliction is scheduled for March 19

World Series of Fighting – Global Championship (WSOF-GC) announced back in December that it had signed a strategic agreement with Philippines based promotion, Underground Battle MMA. It was the first affiliate under WSOF Global’s banner and their first event was held on January 22 with UGB-MMA 13 in Manila.

Since the announcement was made, many other organizations from across the globe have reached out to WSOF-GC to find out how they can join their network. WSOF Global plans to announce the addition of organizations from South Africa and United Kingdom soon, with further discussions continuing with brands from across Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa.

WSOF-GC2_Affliction_Poster1“Our affiliate program is a major part of WSOF Global,” states WSOF-GC President, Shawn Wright. “We want to help promote the organizations that most Global MMA fans aren’t as familiar with. By partnering with our organization, it allows them the opportunity to bring in more sponsorship revenue, structure better production deals, and give their fighters an opportunity to be in the global spotlight. For every MMA superstar in the world, each one of them made their start somewhere. We want to find tomorrow’s superstar today.”

With the success of WSOF-GC 2 just complete from Tokyo, Japan, WSOF-GC 3 is now scheduled in China in May. WSOF Global has already called up UGB-MMA Bantamweight Champion, Pakistan’s Uloomi Karim (5-3), to join their roster for that event. Other young, talented prospects from their affiliates will have the ability to compete for WSOF Global as well.

We know that people outside of the USA are familiar with our name. We will continue to promote our events and put on great fights for our fans. That carries over into the international market.
