Lakers roster features a young and promising players like Clarkson, Russell and Randle. Having a veteran player like George to guide them is a very good idea.
George represents exactly the type of player the Lakers need, which is why the rumors will probably send shock waves throughout the fan base. But, in a league where star power is very important to success, it's hard to imagine the Pacers moving him in a deal where the main chip is a draft pick.
