Pilipinas Basketball to the World.

After The Victory of Gilas Pilipinas Cadets Held last May 22-28, 2016 in Thailand. They defeated all the teams they've faced including the host country, Thailand. Most of all the players on the rosters were not yet in the professional leagued. Only Troy Rosario of TNT and Almond Vosotros of Blackwater Elite are in the PBA.

Mac Belo is included in the team. He's popular now in a collegiate league after they've won UAAP Championship with the FEU Tamaraws and with the Pheonix Petroleum Accelerators in PBA D-Leagued. Belo got both of the MVP awards.

Also with them are RR Pogoy, Russel Escotto, Mike Tolomia and Raymar Jose were both FEU and Pheonix teammates  of Belo.  Jio Jalalon, kevin Ferrer, Jonas Tibayan, Vonn Pessumal, and Ken Holqvist are part of the team. With their Head Coach Nash Racela.

Winning at SEABA probably adds to the teams confidents. Before going to the Cup in Thailand, Gilas Cadets used to practiced with the Gilas Pilipinas in Meralco Gym.

I know that, this win will give the added encouragement for the Gilas players to win a ticket to RIO Olympics on this upcoming OQT that we will be hosting here in the country this July.

Another fight to conquer by our players who will be participating on 2016 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships happens this June 1-5, 2016 in Astana, Kazakhstan. John Lloyd Clemente,Theo Joshua Flores, Joshua Sinclair, and Kyle Christian Tan were at the roster.
