Ghana's Emmanuel Tagoe (25-1,12KOs) dominated Filipino Carlo Magali (20-7-3,10KOs) throughout the fight to retained his WBA International lightweight title by the way of 9th round TKO after Magali quit on his stool before the opening of 10th round.
Magali entered into the fight as a OPBF interim Superfeatherweight champion and having won his last 5 fights including his KO win against Ausralian David Browne Jnr who died 4 years later after the was knockout.
Tagoe known as the gameboy continues his title run after beating his third Filipino victim on his record including TKO win against Jobert Delos Reyes and a controversial Majority Decision win against Ronald Pontillas on March 2013.
