We all know that Ginebra is off to a good start in the current PBA conference. Having the perfect import to join them during these wins have been a blessing for the squad and its been a long time since they had such a great stint in a conference.
Josh Powell, a former Los Angeles Lakers forward, who played along side Kobe Bryant in the NBA and also had alot of stints with other NBA teams showed some support to his former PBA team, Ginebra. Powell played a couple of games with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel before grabbing an opportunity to play again in the NBA with Houston Rockets together with Dwight Howard.
I personally got a chance to have a conversation with him via his twitter account and asked him about his message to the Ginebra team regarding their good start in this conference that might finally end their title drought.
Ginebra will be facing another huge rock on their way to the playoffs as they go against their long time rival Star Hotshots in a manila clasico showdown on Sunday, August 28 at the Araneta Coliseum.
