After Bolts' third straight win, the team now improved to 7-1 right behind San Miguel Beermen who are unbeaten at 5-0.
The win, which strengthened the Bolts also boosted Meralco’s moral for a twice-to-beat advantage in the playoffs.
Baser Amer led the Bolts with 20 points and three assists to make it a third straight win for them and formally clinch a playoff berth.
Jameel McKay led Phoenix in the with game with 16 points and 16 boards.
