Chris Hofmann Continues his dominance in the URCC with Another Win
Not even a Canadian Jujitsu Blackbelter can derail the rise of the Hoff as Chris continues the streak and the dominance in two MMA divisions.
Although a little older, Robert Sothmann looks to be in very good shape and was having an early success with heavy kicks that appeared to put the champion out of balance. Sothmann exchanged blows and appeared to be having the advantage after attempting a number of submission moves against Hoffmann. Sothmann grabbed Hofmann's ankle the first time and attempted a standing guillotine choke but was unsuccessful of finishing.
Both fighters ended up in a striking battle again that bloodied the nose of a game Sothmann. Sothmann continued to deliver his strikes and kicks until Hofmann found the mark and wobbled the Canadian to his back and from that point, it was all Hoff! Chris never let up as he punched Robert to the ground and released a rain on punishment to the face of his Canadian foe.
Was is it a tapout or a knockout?
It was unclear, too if the referee has stopped the bout because Robert could not fight anymore or was it because of he was tapping out? What was clear however is that Chris was the Mann!
Chris Hofmann successfully defended his URCC Middleweight title belt.
