Trade Alert!: Star HotShots and Global Port Batang Pier Swap Rookies

Flores, Gabayni, Sargent for Herndon and Cahilig

Star Hotshots and Global Port consummated a trade within the same day of the draft that would swap Lervin Flores and Robert Herndon and other rookies. 

Lervin Flores the 9th overall pick of Star Hotshots together with Joseph Gabayni and Julian Sargent will be shipped to Global Port Batang Pier in exchange of the 6th pick overall Robert Herndon and Andreas Cahilig.

Robert Herndon, an offensive guy could be playing for Star Hotshots in the upcoming season of the PBA. The Hotshots did not perform as expected in the recent conference especially after letting go of streaky shooter Allein Maliksi to Blackwater.  Herndon could be a good replacement at guard/forward position.

Global Port on the other hand maybe looking to bulk up front court and Lervin Flores would be able to provide that muscle to support the dynamic duo of Stanley Pringle and Terrence Romeo.

The trade proposal is yet to be approved but it is expected to get a nod from the commissioner anytime soon.
