As the excitement builds for ONE 170, fans around the globe are eagerly anticipating an electrifying night featuring three world title fights. With some of the biggest names in combat sports set to clash, here’s what the fighters have to say ahead of the action.

Tawanchai vs. Superbon: The Main Event

In the main event, ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai puts his title on the line in a highly anticipated rematch against Superbon, the former featherweight kickboxing king. Tawanchai, known for his precision and speed, remains confident in his ability to outclass his opponent.

“This is my new dream, to have a kickboxing belt under my name as well. Superbon has competed in my rule set in Muay Thai. After I beat him again, I want a chance to compete in kickboxing to get his belt as well,” Tawanchai shared.

Superbon, on the other hand, has been laser-focused on redemption. Determined to reclaim his glory, he’s been working on countering Tawanchai’s signature moves. “In the first fight, I learned that Tawanchai can kick really fast and his teeps are very precise. This fight is going to be very different,” Superbon stated.

Fabricio Andrade vs. Kwon Won Il: The First Co-Main Event

Fabricio Andrade, the undefeated ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion, will defend his title against #3-ranked contender Kwon Won Il. Andrade has been a dominant force in the division, boasting an unblemished record of 6-0 (1 no-contest) in ONE. Confident in his abilities, Andrade acknowledged his opponent’s improvements but remained unfazed. “He’s made a lot of progress, especially in grappling, but I think I’m still better than him.”

Kwon Won Il, however, believes this is his time to shine. After finishing his last three opponents, he feels more prepared than ever. “I’ve worked hard on my grappling and striking. I think I’m better than I was before, and I’m ready to show that in this fight,” Kwon declared.

Nico Carrillo vs. Nabil Anane: The Second Co-Main Event

The interim bantamweight Muay Thai world title is on the line as #2-ranked Nico Carrillo takes on #5-ranked Nabil Anane. Carrillo has been unstoppable in ONE, finishing all four of his opponents via knockout. “When Superlek pulled out, it was disappointing, but I’m ready for Nabil. I’ve made the adjustments and I’m as prepared as ever,” Carrillo said.

Nabil Anane, a 20-year-old rising star from Algeria, sees this as an opportunity to prove himself. After learning from his last fight against Superlek, Anane is confident he’s a better fighter now. “I’ve grown a lot since my last fight. Nico has power, but I’ve trained to deal with it. You’ll see what I can do this Friday,” he promised.

A Night of Fireworks

ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong summed up the excitement surrounding the event: “This card is stacked with three world title fights! Every match will light up the sold-out Impact Arena and captivate fans worldwide. Superbon and Tawanchai are two of the greatest strikers on the planet, and their rematch will crown the king of kings.”

With a card this stacked, ONE 170 is set to deliver unforgettable moments. The event will be broadcast live in over 190 countries. Don’t miss out—visit watch.ONEFC.com for more details.
